Essay to apply AMHS

     Hello, my name is Chi Tran. I’m an 16 years old international student from Vietnam. I’ve been studying in Seattle, WA for my freshman and sophomore year. I went to the US when I was only 14 and I think that’s a really life changing experience for me. Living in the US, I have learnt many things that I probably wouldn’t have known if I stayed in Vietnam. I met new people, friends that become very important to me. I get to be closer to my sister and most importantly I had a lot of fun being here. I love art in general and drawing specifically. I like rules but also I love to put creativity in them. I’m also pretty good at Math. Family to me are the most important and probably also the one who has most influences on me. I have my parents and an older sister, who is also living in Lynnwood. I have not decide what I want to be in the future yet, but if I can, I’d love to do something creative and artistic. Some jobs that interested me were: interior designer, web designer, marketing,... I think of myself as optimistic, energetic and out-going.
